In the Medicine 3504 Program, the School coordinates an 8 week term which comprises urban and rural general practice.

There is 2 days of introductory lectures and tutorials, followed by rotations through different clinical attachments in General Practice. Students are allocated to one of three groups, which have different arrangements for attachments.

The final mark for the primary care course is based on the following assessments:
Course convenor's overall grade based on the generic learning plan: 50%
Team Care Assignment: 30%
Consultation Skills role-play: 20%
