The Instructional Development Team (IDT) provides expertise in the areas of Information Technology, Website Design, Instructional Design and Course Development and Production.
The IDT has been established to resource educational development across the School, incorporating staff development in the design, development and evaluation of both print and Web-based courses, learning resources and student support materials. This includes the use of educational technology for learning and teaching.
The IDT also offers advice to the Faculty of Medicine and wider University community on the use of educational technologies to support teaching and learning, and the technical infrastructure required for this.
Consultancies for corporate clients of the School are also part of the role of the IDT.
