PHUM Governance
Two committees oversee the running of PHUM – the advisory and steering committees.
Advisory Committee
The advisory committee provides general oversight and direction to the Unit. The principal function is to provide strategic guidance for development of the unit over the long term as well as promote the work and activities of the Unit to the wider community.

Steering Committee
The steering committee is responsible for oversight of study projects ensuring compliance with appropriate research standards and ethical requirements.
The steering committee is made up of our research partners. Unit staff members are responsible and accountable to the Steering Committee through the Unit Director.
