Major focus on the impact of mental health (psychological distress)on the prevention of cardiovascular disease via interactions with other cardiovascular risk factors including lifestyle and physiological factors. Other main areas of interest include shared decision making in the context of multidisciplinary care, impact of absolute cardiovascular risk assessment on the management of cardiovasular risk factors and health promotion via general practice such as via routine health checks.
