Research Interests

Primary focus of research is Patient Safety. Chief Investigator of the Threats to Australian Patient Safety (TAPS) study, which broadly investigated reports of error from the community, establihed the incidence of reported error in General Practice settings and developed a taxonomy to describe the nature of reported errors in General Practice. Collaborative work with DOHA, NSW Health, RACGP and Divisions of GP (AGPN).

Course Convenor for Primary Care in the final phase of undergraduate medinine at UNSW. Focus of the course is the discipline of General Practice and patient centred medicine.
