The BSc (Med) Hons program is a one-year supervised research program leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor of Science (Medicine) Honours.

Important Dates for Students Commencing Project in 2012
| mid March 2011 | Expression of interest for 3rd year students who wish to do Honours in 2011 is opened - eligible students will be sent an email |
| 23 May 2011 | Phase 1 average marks will be known and final decision for Honours application will be emailed
Students who fail any of End of Phase 1 exams and/or Phase 1 portfolio will be withdrawn from Honours program and must do ILP. |
| 26 August 2010 | Last date to submit application (Late application will not be accepted) |
| 19 March 2012 | Start of Honours in 2012 |
