UNSW Online Services include myUNSW (for staff pay and leave records), Email, UniWide - the UNSW wireless network, eLearning and UNSW Library online services.
Email
The University uses
Microsoft Exchange (Outlook) for its email services. You should be automatically assigned a UNSW email address -
https://www.it.unsw.edu.au/staff/email/address.html
To access UNSW email you need a
zPass (password). Contact the IT Service desk for your initial password.
Redirect UNSW Email
http://www.it.unsw.edu.au/staff/email/redirect_external.html
If you don't want to use Exchange to read your official UNSW emails, you can have them forwarded to another email service that you currently use.
Passwords
zPass and UniPass - You will need both zPass and UniPass to access ALL University systems. Both zPass and UniPass can be self-managed via the
Identity manager website.
What are your requirements?
- I have a UniPass but not a zPass - you can login here with your UniPass and create a zPass (instructions on how to create a zPass).
- I am a New User - no UniPass or zPass - Set your UniPass here and then create your zPass. Alternatively, you can get your initial passwords by contacting the IT Service Desk.
Need help? Please contact the IT Service Desk on
9385 1333 or and request assistance in creating these.
