The Health Professional Education Group (HPEG) is a group of staff within the School of Public Health and Community Medicine who specialise in the scholarship of education for the health professions. Our activities span research, teaching and specialist educational advice and technical support for the School, the Faculty of Medicine, for UNSW and for external agencies. We specialise in medical education but are active in health professional education more broadly. Our research, project and consultancy activities are described on our Research Area of Expertise page.

The Health Professional Education group is responsible for the delivery of the postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education Program. program. We also contribute to the Master of Public Health and Master of Health Management Programs. Members of HPEG were involved in the design of the undergraduate Medicine Program and are still very active in the program.
