What do we mean when we talk about a community? and how can we work with communities in a way that empowers them to address their own needs? These are just two of the key questions you will explore in this course.

This course includes a good mix of theory and practical examples. Those of you who currently work in community development can hopefully gain a deeper understanding of the theories and models that can be used to guide practice and also explore a range of case examples of community development while reflecting on your own practice. Those of you who are interested in working more in this area will find a good mix of theory and practical applications to expand your knowledge and skills in this challenging and rewarding area of public health.

I have included a Course Outline above to give you more information.
