Application for Admission for Domestic Students - Semester 2 2012 (commencing July 2012)

For Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens, application for postgraduate coursework programs at the School of Public Health and Community Medicine are online through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).

Applications for Semester 2 2012 open on 5th April 2012 and close on 31st May 2012.

Note: If you are an international student please see International Student Application Procedures.

Important Notes for Applicants:
  1. If you do not have the required undergraduate degree but have completed a three-year or a four-year hospital-based nurse training program or have extensive health-related work experience in another area you may be considered for the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma. Once you have submitted your application via UAC, please email your request for consideration to the School of Public Health and Community Medicine (postgrad-sphcm@unsw.edu.au) no later than 15 June 2012 and include your UAC application number.
  2. A limited number of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) are available in our Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma and Masters programs on a competitive basis. Tuition fee places will also be available. If you wish to be considered for both CSP (commonwealth supported place) and a FEE (tuition fee place) you must list both course codes in your list of preferences (e.g.both 915800 and 915801 for the Master of Public Health program).
  3. All programs have an external option. Internal/external options are chosen at enrolment.
  4. Specialisations are available in the Master of Public Health. Students can request transfer into a specialisation following enrolment by emailing your request to the School of Public Health and Community Medicine (postgrad-sphcm@unsw.edu.au).
  5. Fees are charged per semester based on current enrolment at the time. For additional information about tuition fees, Fee-Help and CSP see the links below.
