Modes of delivery include:

Internal (Face-to-face)

Face-to-face classes held over 12 weeks. For some internal courses students may be expected to attend a compulsory workshop during residential week. Please check timetable for compulsory workshops. May also include some Web based learning components.

External (Workshop)

Face-to-face compulsory workshops held over a few days, usually during residential week, followed by a 12 week semester of self study with follow up assignment material. May include Web based learning components.

External (Online)

Offered by distance mode. 12 week semester of self study material which includes Web based learning components and assignment material. Students are not required to attend face-to-face classes or a workshop.

We currently have over 500 students enrolled in postgraduate programs. Over one half of these students are studying by external mode.

To meet work and family commitments (most students are working full time and many have children) students choose to combine attendance in classes with Web-based or self-study learning components. Programs can be undertaken full-time or part-time; through internal, external, workshop or mixed modes. The teaching staff work closely with our course development team to build in more flexibility and improve the quality of our programs.

We also realise that those of you who are studying externally may have special needs, and we aim to keep in touch through regular newsletters, residential schools and Web-based discussions. Check our Online Learning pages for more details about Web-based components.
